What is the origin of the name?

 

This flagship biscuit of the LU brand, established in 1846 by Jean-Romain Lefèvre and his spouse Pauline-Isabelle Utile. Created within a small Nantes cake shop, in Rue Boileau, the Petit LU is today famous the world over, and the symbol of a Nantes industrial success story.
