Seasonal opening: from 30th march to october
If you’re out of ideas to occupy your children, go straight to the minigolf course at the Petit Port. Produced in partnership with the Voyage à Nantes organisation, it was the Nantes artist, Jean Bonichon, who dreamed up this minigolf course, which is highly colourful, nestled within the verdant park of Nantes Camping.
Named “Petits Voyages Extraordinaires” (“Short yet extraordinary journeys”), you will most certainly not fail to enjoy this 15-hole golf course, punctuated with references to Jules Verne novels. At each clue, you will find one or several incongruous objects which illustrate a work by the writer, whether an inverted balloon, a Breton lighthouse lost in the desert, or a champagne cork on the moon. The artist has demonstrated brilliant skill in twisting everyday objects to adapt them to Jules Verne’s bizarre world. All along this storybook port of call, you will enjoy guessing what the seven literary references disseminated within the scenery of the Nantes minigolf course actually are. Call on your memory, arm yourself with a little imagination, let your mind become impregnated with this artistic atmosphere and Bob’s your uncle!
The mini-golf is open from April to the beggining of november (closed from November to March).
If you wish to discover the full description of the course and the history of of each clue, please do not hesitate to consult the press kit.
